- Carries out analyses within the administrative and executive management level as well as efficiency analyses within the departments and territorial structures of the company;
- Ensures that within the company there are rules and procedures defined and an adequate system of internal control in order to assure the efficiency and profitability of the company's activity, as well as the compliance of the company's activity with the legislation in force, the company's policy and procedures;
- Carries out internal controls with a view to limiting the access to assets, approvals and authorizations for the operations that exceed certain amount limits, etc.;
- Carries out internal control activities in order to identify and asses accordingly any new risks occurred as a consequence of the activity development;
- Evaluates appropriate responsibilities assignment at all organizational levels and makes recommendations so as to avoid conflicts of interest;
- Participates and supports the activities of internal procedures and processes improvements;
- Provides specific reports according to the requirements of the legislation / of the Insurance Supervisory Commission or other authorities, of the Supervisory Board, of the Management Board or of the shareholders;
- Has the obligation to be permanently informed upon all company's processes, upon the Romanian insurance related legislation and upon the Norms of the I.S.C. regarding the internal control system;
- Ensures a good collaboration with the internal, external auditors and the risk management department.

- University degree, preferable Economics;
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in insurance, minimum 2 years experience as internal controller;
- MS Office proficiency;
- Fluency in English (German would be a strong asset);
- Knowledge and understanding of the principles and business processes in insurance;
- Knowledge of specific reglementations of the internal control system and insurance related legislation;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to systematically and logically analyze information;
- Ability to set priorities and strong motivation to bring projects to successful finish;
- Good sense of initiative, proactive person;
- Attention to details, precision and accuracy;
- High sense of confidentiality;
- Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as with third parties.
